Show Notes

Back by popular demand, we present _Nick’s Shit Bluetooth Headphone Review_. Yes, this week Nick goes into detail on his new Apple AirPods. We reminisce about early 2000s route planning websites, cut a swathe through follow up, and pit £160 Bluetooth ear buds against £20 ones. Nick is having an identity crisis, Jon finds out if he’s running the London Marathon, and we fail to find out the age of WWE legend The Undertaker. ## Show Notes * Email us like Joe from Texas did [email protected] * Nick doesn’t live on a [trap street](https://gizmodo.com/the-fake-places-that-only-exist-to-catch-copycat-cartog-1695414770)—his road is very big and real. * [You really shouldn’t address things to people by their nickname. Memory in the battery

It’s the show that changes every week! It’s Runner Pod, and we are here once again to talk about fitness, running and lithium ion batteries. This week we are in a self-congratulatory mood off the back of the triumph that was episode 21 (or was it 20? Nobody is sure anymore). We talk about adjusting training plans when life happens, Nick makes a bold claim that something which has run once is, in fact, a tradition, Jon chooses shoes wisely, and we audition for /I Love the 90s/. Please ensure that you fully discharge your podcast player’s batteries before you play the show. * [Battery Memory effect](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memory_effect) * [The Jog Shop 20—South Downs 20 mile race](http://www.jogshoponline.co.uk/thejogshopjog.html) We are hosted by Podiant and you can be too. All the bitbits

Grab yourself a vegan milkshake, settle down, then stand up, throw the milkshake at a racist, and then settle down for a weekly slice of fitness, running, and tech. It's a running heavy episode this week. Sorry tech fans. Nick has a 10k PB, despite being at the wrong location, Jon has been running with kids, and we welcome the season of disgusting sweaty summer runs. * [Find us on Strava](https://www.strava.com/clubs/you-don-t-look-like-a-runner-445740) * [Tell us things on Twitter](https://twitter.com/runnerpod) ...

Get it done before the clap

Failing to read the country's mood, we met up once again to talk about fitness, running and tech. Nick has found a new dead format to worry about, Jon is putting it all on the plate, and we offer up a hot take on Zoom calls. Remember, if you don't use lockdown to learn a language, write that novel or work on your side hustle you're probably just trying to keep going as best as you can in pretty testing circumstances and in all honestly that's as worth clapping as anything else going on right now. You're doing great and we're proud of you. This week's links: * Nick bought a [Kano](https://kano.me/uk/store/products/computer-kit). It's probably worth looking for on ebay as the novelty wears of fast. * Tbh the Kano is a Raspbery Pi with bells on, so maybe just get one of those and get the same benefit of a one hour diversion for the kids for a few quid... Nick could use [this kit to make a speaker for his NFC cards](https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/pirate-radio-pi-zero-w-project-kit). What a talking point that would be. * He also got a [Yoto speaker](https://www.yotoplay.com/) which he swears is worth it. * Jon isn't on Twitter except for when he does [this](https://twitter.com/jonhickman/status/1254428473805987840). ...
